Agilent A-Line certified 2 mL vials are constructed from from Type 1 borosilicate glass, with low metal content, to protect your sample from destabilizing or leaching. The associated 9 mm screw caps are available with septa constructed from either PTFE/silicone or natural red rubber.

PFAS free vials and caps, also known as PTFE-free vials and caps, are pivotal in PFAS (Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances) testing and PFAS sensitive applications. PFAS testing demands precision, sensitivity, and minimal sample contamination, all of which are addressed by Agilent’s PFAS testing vials. 

Agilent offers a range of PFAS free vials in three primary styles: screw top, snap top, and snap/crimp top. These vials are specifically designed to accommodate pH-sensitive samples and analyses involving sodium or heavy metals, making them ideal for PFAS testing where sample integrity is paramount. 

Agilent 2 mL crimp top vials are crimp vials constructed from type 1 borosilicate glass. The unique low metal content nature of the high-quality material can help to protect your sample from destabilizing or leaching. Our associated crimp vial caps come with a choice of either PTFE/silicone, PTFE only, natural red rubber, butyl, or PTFE/butyl septum materials.

No crimpers, decappers, or other tools are required when using snap top vials. Snap top vials enable the user to hold both the pipette and snap cap in one hand and the snap cap vial in the other when pipetting, making them more convenient than other vial types. 11 mm snap cap vials are compatible with standard 11 mm snap caps with an 11 mm internal diameter. Snap caps come with a variety of septum combinations including PTFE/silicone, solid polyethylene, polyurethane, and polyethylene olefin.

Snap top vials are recommended for use with nonvolatile matrices that do not require an extra-secure seal. They are often used for HPLC, in pharmaceuticals, biopharmaceuticals (deactivated glass options), and other associated market segments.

Agilent's 2 mL screw top vials are constructed from Type 1 borosilicate glass, with low metal content, to protect your sample from destabilizing or leaching. Our 2 mL glass vials are available in both amber and clear versions. The associated 9 mm vial screw cap comes with your choice of septa constructed from either PTFE/silicone, PTFE/silicone/PTFE or PTFE/natural red rubber.

Agilent's headspace vial caps are engineered to prevent sample contamination while providing consistent, secure seals. Headspace vial caps are available in a variety of materials including aluminum, bimetal, and steel; headspace vial cap septa are available in PTFE/silicone, molded PTFE/butyl, and high-temperature varieties. Our headspace vial caps come in either 11 mm, 18 mm, 20 mm or 22 mm sizes. Most used headspace vial caps are crimp cap style. Headspace screw caps are used with magnetic directed headspace instruments for better alignment.

Agilent's broad range of high recovery vials (also referred to as high recovery HPLC vials) are the vial of choice when working with limited sample volumes but not wanting to manually combine a standard 2 mL vial with a separate vial insert. Our portfolio also includes HPLC vial inserts that can be used with any 2mL vial for limited volume samples.

Polypropylene vials, also called PP vials, are commonly used for pH-sensitive samples, sodium, or heavy metal analyses. Agilent offer polypropylene vials in three common autosampler vial styles: screw top PP vials, snap top PP vials, and snap/crimp top PP vials. Polypropylene vials are used in a wide variety of applications across all market segments including pharmaceutical, environmental, biopharmaceutical, proteomics, and metabolomics.

Storage vials are a convenient and secure way of storing sample volumes from 4 mL to 40 mL. Agilent storage vials are available in either clear and amber and made using premium Type 1 borosilicate glass materials. The high-quality materials limit sample adulteration caused by excessive metal leeching from the vial glass surface. The associated caps are lined with PTFE or PTFE/silicone to restrict impurity contamination. Agilent storage vial kits offer a high level of chemical resistance.

Agilent 12 mm vial racks are ideal for holding 2 mL glass vials ( 2 ml screw vials, 2 mL crimp vials or 2 mL snap vials) for table top sample prep. Vial storage boxes are able to hold 50 x 2 mL vials instead which offer a cover when compared to an open vial rack.
