Product Features

  • Appendix A procedure is updated to replace NICs previous model SP-3D with NIC MA-3 Solo. This procedure lists the Determination of Mercury Species in Hydrocarbons, which can be used to differentiate between elemental mercury, organic non-ionic mercury and ionic (both inorganic and organic) mercury species. (Refer to UOP Method 938-10 and earlier versions when using the NIC SP-3D Mercury Analyzer.)
  • Appendix B did not change and contains an alternative procedure for total mercury in liquid hydrocarbons, using NIC’s PE-1000 instrument with higher sensitivity.
